Statement of Position
We are taking a non-agressive stance with Poland.
What That Means
This means we will not be deploying divisions to aid the UK against the Polish invasion. From our correspondence with Eden, the attack is in response to WWIII when the UK attacked the US. Since we were not involved in WWIII we would not be a target.
However, if we support the UK, that would be seen as an act of aggression by Poland and then they would invade us.
Next Steps
We are staying the course. We will continue to make ourselves stronger through population growth, ranking up, and building infrastructure. All of these things will make us less appealing to attack and give us a strategic advantage when the new module comes online.
I feel your pain, I do. I am eager to get involved in a conflict or two myself, but this is not the one for us to get involved with. There are plenty of other places we can deploy troops for better effect.
So what can you do? Simple.
1. Work, Train, Fight at every opportunity
2. Volunteer at the State Hospital Company to build the next Q5 hospital
3. Encourage people to come to Ireland
Each and every one of us has a part to play in making this nation stronger. Let's make sure we are doing our part to the fullest.

We'd be much better off to stand against imperialism rather than play politics with this one. The UK will not stay down. They are as ripe for a baby boom as anyone and when they get one, and vault back into the top 5, guess which nation they'll obliterate first...

We stand tall to defend Greece against Turkey back in June/July of last year against "Imperialism" but we forsake our neighbors? This IS Imperialism. It is irresponsible to not lend a hand to the U.K. we have social-economic bonds made. We could become the adjudicators in a Europe in flames. Germany and France were "weak" adversaries and easily conquered. We are certainly not defending the little-guy here. People are running their mouths off about certain things, but our military Goals were a "Mistake" not an opportunity.
BUT, we should be receiving 500Gold from the broken treaty we had from the U.K.

I am Irish - member of eCongress for eNorthern Ireland - and will be resisting the invasion of mainland Britain with everything I have.
I would urge any balanced eIrish citizens to do the same.
My advice is to disregard anyone who attempts to bring any RL snles into the dbate about which side to back - better to consider eRepublik history where eUK has been a good neighbour consistently throughout the history of the game. Who would you prefer to have running N Ireland - us or the Poles?

It's wise not to provoke today's superpower and, probably, tomorrow's superempire.
Longbaugh, we can say a lot about EDEN, both in postive and negative manner. Personally I don't think, that EDEN is more hypocritical than any other alliance, especially Phoenix.
But, you know, this game is about war, not - liking or disliking somebody. eIreland is too small to be rightful member of any alliance (you can see, how much Phoenix care about small countries; is it nice or fun?), so avoiding open conflict with ePoland is for our/yours country a matter of life and death. eFrance, eGermany, eSlovenia and eBulgaria have fallen despite all the MPP they signed. Tell me please, how many time would ePoland need in order to conquer the entire eIreland?
