Final Update: Quebec, Sask, and the Order of Military Merit

There are some final things I'd like to announce before I go, things that I ought not to leave to my subscription poor successor, whomever he may be.

Quebec:

The Fonds Investissement Quebec placed a bit over 100 gold in victory bonds during the war, since its original mission of a Q5 hospital in Quebec had to be replaced with Quebec not falling // Quebec being reclaimed.

Now, Quebec is, obviously, the gateway to Canada West, just as Alberta is the gateway to Canada East, and due to its population it was a prime candidate anyway for when the new Q5 hospital was ready from health canada. The FIQ stated that they would not need to have their Victory Bonds reimbursed if we placed our next Q5 in Quebec and since it already made strategic sense, I happily agreed. The FIQ has also asked me to list the donors who made this deal significantly easier for the government, so here they are:

Alas, we did not win, but we played a crucial role in keeping Hungary distracted and unable to attack Croatia during the Aegean Island battle in Greece. It was also a crucial test of our new supply system for the Rangers and Reserves, and bravo for it being successful 🙂

Finally, Recognition for the members of the CAF - The Order of Military Merit.

As I said in a previous article, I have instituted this Order as a means to recognize the specific military contributions of members of the Canadian Armed Forces, who have done so much to keep our native land Strong and Free. There are three levels to the Order, Officers, Knights, and Knight Commanders. I encourage Order members to proudly display their membership on the forum, and when they mongoose 1ronman gets back from the Caribbean, to wear your medals with pride.
