In each article you forget some honest company, then it is automatically included in the "blacklist", you are the government now for god sake, the damage in the image of the company is not little. Its more than obvious something like this won't affect in noway tnt's business, if they did everything that you guys said, they even need to keep the companies running ...

Other thing, its obvious that the general population and a lot of congressmen does not read articles in general, we saw it clearly in elections and in recent votes in Congress.

You are in government for almost a week and every day someone still creates an article about rockman, TNT, etc ...

It's time to act, what we have seen so far are plans and more plans, laws being proposed by the governing party and after some time, the government itself creates an article asking the congress to vote No.

I sell Q3 food, and I can't keep up with the price of the blacklisted company. So I sell for far more, but I still sell about 10-15 food per day. The whitelist do work.

I make my money by exporting to Spain, I get more money there even with 99% importtax.

i sell wood and every 2 days i have to put more in the market, so the blacklist do not work. And ealb been a member of the goverment i think this blacklist can and must be reported.

Boycotting is a time honored practice in both free market economies and democracies which is inline with the spirit of the game. I mean we have a built in boycott in regardings to trade restrictions with other nations.

While not everyone will follow the list, it is something that reminds everyone that the actions of the past have not been corrected and that there is still issues that need to be addressed.

Make up your mind. Is the boycott meaningless and having no effect (in which case being temporarily unlisted is harmless), or is it a dire, viciously effective thing?

They have plenty of stolen baht with which to run their companies. I'm not worried about them going bankrupt. If they want to return said ill-gotten gains to the treasury, we can talk.

If it's bad policy, I'm going to decry it no matter who proposes it. I'm not a partisan hypocrite, thank you very much. And if I propose bad policy, I want it to be shouted down, not uncritically accepted on the basis of the person who proposed it or their party affiliation.

Sure, 'cause there's not 100% adherence to the boycott. But the key question is, do you sell as much as you would without it? Does it help your competitors avoid being driven out of buiness by your company with its ill-gotten funding?

Good luck with that. If you didn't get me banned for this when you tried before, I don't see how me being a technically unofficial adviser/assistant to the elected President is going to make a difference. Also: ePakistan.

As Guy said, boycotting is a time-honored form of consumer activism, and it's not incompatible with a free marketplace in any way.

Ths list is prejudicial when u forget some companies and useless because the simple fact of TNTs companies are functioning normally. Say they are active only because of the episode of the hospital is not see the reality.

About the congress policy, i thought you would act as a bloc, at least that is what you suggested in the campaign. Now i see i was wrong about it, its almost the same thing we had before, everyone proposes anything, and later while the vote is open ppl discusses about it, for me this is lack of command.

This is pretty difficult to implement, as I feel every one is trying to make a mark for themselves, or be a leader. We had our tax proposals listed in an article by calchas, but they were ignored and people do their own thing.

I would like congressmen before they make a proposal to create an article asking for thoughts and questions on their packages before wasting a proposal that may get shot down because there is no explanation for it.

Whether or not people will actually take the time to do this is highly suspect though.

That was one idea of it. The other was to attempt to promote businesses that are not propped up by the stolen baht because it's difficult for an unsubsidized company to compete with a company that can stay in business despite pay higher wages and offering lower prices than them. As Investment-SO pointed out, in this respect it's working.

They get added upon request. It's not prejudicial in that respect, but imperfectly maintained.

Again, the point was not to break them and drive them to the sea. We can't. The boycott won't be 100%, and even if it was they have their loot reserves. It's to reduce the further support they get, and to attempt to lessen their ability to distort the economy and/or drive the competition out of business due to the patently unfair advantage the Hospital episode (plus prior underwriting) afforded them. The boycott will be working so long as TNT companies don't dominate the eThai economy. It doesn't fail simply because they don't.

I am also tired of proposals with no discussion by the proposer. I am tempted to vote "No" on each one just for the sake of doing so, but alas I might give in if it really makes sense to me.

I am seeing a good thing in eThai. Yes, it is disorganized and chaotic, but I am seeing other voices struggling to raise through. This is an important step, now we need to mold that activity. Change is hard.

I have a question, are you sure that closed companies have nothing to do with the lost money? Just today I bought Q1 tickets and Q2 gifts for 0.1 THB each, that is insane.

More generally, Antonio has returned 20k of the 21k he received from the Hospital incident. A further ~650฿ were honorably spent on the first Housing lottery. While it's possible he's gotten some funds transferred to him from the rest of the conspirators, and it's probably that he benefited from TNT largess during beta, I'd like to try to keep moving forward. To this effect, I propose adding the companies he manages to the whitelist.
