Asteria Military Report [4] - Operation China & Russia

Greetings Asteria & Asteria friends,


In the past two weeks, we had one of the most complicated actions organized by Asteria. The campaign that I am talking about is removing CODE countries from China, which was one of the most essential CODE bases for their training wars. Meanwhile, we also had a side campaign that consisted of conquering Russia and removing all CODE countries from Russia's cores.


Operation Russia

I will start with a small overview of Asteria’s actions that took part in Russia. Before this action, Asteria had control of some of Russia’s core regions: Kaliningrad, Leningrad Oblast, Moscow and Central Russia, Far Eastern Russia and Central Black Earth controlled by 4 different countries: Romania, Lithuania, USA and Ukraine. The CODE countries that were present in Russia’s cores were Russia, Turkey, Bosnia, Chile and France.

On Day 5523, the map looked like in the following picture:



Three Asteria countries mainly pushed in this area (Bulgaria, Ukraine and USA) as they did not have any major battles in China. We preferred to use Bulgaria’s airstrike in Russia because they had the opportunity to land at a very good strategic point which allowed them and USA to conquer all the regions in Russia. Also, we took into consideration that Bulgaria can join the other Asteria’s countries in China using the Xinjiang - Western Siberia border. There were some tough battles, but eventually, we managed to conquer all regions in Russia’s core after approximately 1 week (Day 5528 - 5529). At the time this article is written, we still have these regions under our occupation, like in the map below.



Operation China

This campaign took 11 days, it started on the week change on Day 5523, and it finished on Day 5533 when Romania managed to take the last region that CODE had in China, owned by Cyprus.

The map looked like in the below image at the moment when we started our planning on how we are going to try to remove CODE from their most important base for training wars.

The difficulty of this campaign was caused by the fact that in China there were a large number of countries that were part of CODE or from DWARF, their allied alliance. These countries had the opportunity to rotate their regions and block airstrike laws if we did not take the appropriate measures to be sure that we can land. The CODE/DWARF/proCODE countries that were present in China and are in the above image were:

2. Greece
3. Argentina
4. Bosnia and Herzegovina
5. Hungary
6. Turkey
7. Slovenia
8. Russia
9. Albania
10. Cyprus
11. North Korea



We started the planning by giving some targets for the countries with available airstrikes and afterward starting the necessary Resistance Wars in China cores on Monday/Tuesday in such a way that CODE can’t use them in order to block Asteria or to jump to another region and force us to airstrike somewhere else if we approved our airstrikes.

We had to take some risks with some of our laws, but by voting in the last minutes we were able to not give away our plans too soon to CODE. And eventually, they also did some mistakes which lead to the airstrikes of Lithuania and Romania, with Lithuania landing on Argentina, and Romania landing on Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the same time, Ukraine, Portugal and Iran airstriked China in order to be sure that they can land and afterward we can also rotate between ourselves if needed. Also, all these countries had to send DOW & NE laws ASAP after their landing in China to gain the initiative. And in most of the cases we succeeded by having very good cooperation and active country presidents.



We eliminated the CODE countries one by one, each day we managed to eliminate one more country in the beginning, and later other Asteria countries joined with their airstrikes to finish the job: South Africa, USA, Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, while Bulgaria joined via the Xinjiang border with Russia. Out of these ones, only South Africa was not able to land against Cyprus, but they did a lot of damage to CODE which proved to be very important. Finally, after approximately 10 days which included a lot of planning, we managed to eliminate all CODE countries from China. I know that a lot of people from Asteria were blocked because we had to start a lot of resistance wars and later it was tough to find people even for 100% confirmed Resistance Hero medals, but I am glad that we managed to work together as a team and help each other with even such small, but necessary things.

To be honest, I was not optimistic when we realized the plan for this operation as in China we had to fight a lot of powerful CODE countries, but Asteria and Hydra proved me wrong and I am glad they did it. I would like to mainly congratulate Lithuania because they had to pull most of the strings in the first days because CODE preferred to focus on Lithuania and avoid/ignore Romania. Lithuania fought two very difficult wars versus Argentina (Link 1 and Link 2) and one against Slovenia.The Republic of Macedonia also had a great fight against Croatia, managing to kick them from an area of China.


But in the end, every country that took part in this operation had their contribution to its success and I want to congratulate every one of them for this achievement. I also noted that the countries that were not part of it sent noticeable help in air mainly to Lithuania, so they can focus on the ground fighting. This action was not really an action in which a lot of countries had to spend great damage in order to be successful, but it was more of a strategic war, where I think that ASTERIA managed to be all the time two steps ahead of CODE.



Asteria and Hydra are looking to have a long and good relationship with China in the future and we currently have the following countries in China from Asteria/Hydra:

4. Republic of Macedonia
5. Portugal
6. Ukraine
7. Iran
8. Bulgaria
9. Republic of Moldova
10. Peru
11. Colombia (will join in one day after a great win vs South Korea in their cores)

Basically, we managed to replace the 11 CODE or proCODE countries with 11 ASTERIA or HYDRA countries in less than 2 weeks. It is a great achievement and I want to thank all Asteria and Hydra members for their effort and I hope we will be as powerful as we were in this campaign also in future wars. I think that also the relation between Asteria and Hydra alliances got stronger in the past months and I am happy that we can coordinate our actions together.



In the end, I would like to thank again all countries that were involved in these China and Russia operations for their cooperation, coordination and I am glad that we managed to get such an unexpected victory (at least from my point of view. We have some new plans ahead of us and we will do our best to maintain the strong position on the world map that we currently achieved.

Also, I would like to thank costin1989 for his help in the China action where he spotted some things that I missed, and also I would like to thank Anchoboy for the coordination of our actions on the Russia front. I am glad that I have such a great team around me.
