VIP Shop | Level 5 & 4 | VIP Level Progress | [VVIP Edition]
Dear READeRs,
I've really tried to write a short article, but that's just not possible...
There are so many things to analyze and so many updates to make...
For instance, this one:
VIP Level 5
Today I reached VIP Level 5 at 6000 VIP Points.
VIP Shop Level 10 Menu & VIP Level 1 - 5 Price List
VIP Shop at Level 5
VIP Shop at Level 5 brings another two new items:
+10% Ground Rank Points and +9000 Storage.
+10% Ground Rank Points
+10% Ground Rank Points [10 min], Price (25% Off): 142 Weapon Raw Material, Quantity Limit: 5.
At the current price of WRM at 35.25 CC the +10% Ground Rank Points booster costs 5,005.50 CC or 5.01 Gold, which seems a bit expensive.
Recommendation: Buy Maybe...
I would recommend you to buy it only if your strength is significant (above 400,000) and/or you want to boost up your rank points at any cost up to the Legend XX Rank. Most likely you might want to buy it and use it in the first Tuesday Epic Battle with Prestige Point Boosters, a load of Energy Bars (usage up to 900 Energgy Bars in 10 min) in order to achieve 27000 Prestige Points. In that case it's more than worth of its price.
If you prioritize Air Rank, or you have already achieved Legend XX rank in the ground, or if your strength is not that high, it might be cheaper to buy Energy bars and then you might not want to buy it...
+9000 Storage
+9000 Storage, Price (80% Off): 262 Weapon Raw Material, Quantity Limit: 2.
At the current price of WRM at 35.25 CC the +9000 Storage in VIP Shop Level 5 costs 9,235.50 CC or 9.24 Gold, which is 1.01 Gold per 1000 space storage, it is currently the most affordable storage space in eRepublik, when compared to all the other options.
When compared to +1000 Storage from VIP Shop Level 2 at 5.90 Gold per 1000 space storage, whose price got significantly higher in the last 2 weeks, due to high demand for FRM, and it is currently the most expensive option in eRepublik, so it's even more worth to buy the +9000 Storage, unlike the +1000 Storage.
When compared to +20000 Storage in the Gold Store, available at 100 Gold price, which would be at 5 Gold per 1000 space storage, it's definitely worth it.
When compared to the Large Storage with 9000 Storage space from the Create Company menu, which price is 35 Gold or 3.89 Gold per 1000 Storage space, +9000 Storage from VIP Shop Level 5 is still much better option.
When compared to the Normal Storage with 1000 Storage space from the same Create Company menu, which price is 1,750 CC or 1.75 Gold per 1000 Storage space, +9000 Storage from VIP Shop Level 5 is still a better option.
So don't look further for any storage space! If you need storage, unlock VIP Shop Level 5 as soon as possible and buy +9000 Storage (just make sure you don't make a mistake and buy the most expensive one in VIP Shop on Level 2, at least until the prices are not adjusted to something more reasonable).
Recommendation: Buy.
If you are in mass production of Raw Material and/or you are planning to expand your production, or if you just need more storage space, it's a definite buy.
If you have enough storage at the moment, then don't buy, at least for now. You might want to wait until you need more space and in the meantime WRM price might stabilize and go down as well as FRM for +1000 Storage, which might be also then more affordable than the +20000 Storage in the Gold Store.
VIP Level 4
Recently I have reached VIP Level 4 at 3500 VIP points, which brings 2 new items to buy:
Factory Reset Token and +100% Deploy Size booster.
Factory Reset Tokens
Factory Reset Tokens, Price (10% Off): 5 House Raw Material, Quantity Limit: 1
At the current price of HRM at 849.99 CC the Factory Reset Token costs 4,249.95 CC or 4.25 Gold.
Is it worth it?
Well, it depends... If you compare it to the price of moving a company it might be worth it, but it really depends on the value of the company and the moving distance.
Recommendation: Buy Maybe...
When to buy it?
So if you have more than one holding in highly productive country and/or region and if you have highly valuable companies, like Q7 Weapon Factories, and if they are located in an unstable region, and most of them are, then most definitely buy it, and buy as many as possible! For me personally it's a must buy as I am usually short on Factory Reset Tokens, as it might save me (or you) a lot of money in case of unexpected wars.
In my case Factory Reset Tokens are worth to buy for any Q3+ company (Weapon Factory, Food Factory, Aircraft Weapon Factory, House Factory) or Q5 Raw Material company (mostly Q5 Weapon Raw Material companies).
When not to buy it?
If you need to move a large number of Q4 WRM companies, then don't buy a Factory Reset Token as the company moving costs are likely lower than buying Factory Reset Token. Besides, it is limited to 1 per week.
Also if you need to move a company Q1 - Q2, then the value of the company is too low and it's probably cheaper to move the company than to reset it.
And of course, if you already have plenty of Factory Reset Tokens, or if your companies are in a stable country/region or if you don't have any companies, then you don't need to buy any Factory Reset Tokens.
+100% Deploy Size
+100% Deploy Size, Price (75% Off): 129 Food Raw Material, Quantity Limit: 10
At the current price of FRM at 25.97 CC the +100% Deploy Size costs 3350.00 CC or 3.35 Gold.
Seems a bit overpriced. I would recommend buying it only if you really need it, prerequisite being having collected a lot of energy bars (at least 100) and/or treats (at least 200) and running low on Deploy Size boosters and wanting to use it in combination with Prestige Point Boosters.
Still, +200% Deploy Size would be more preferable, but it could save you a second or two in a battlefield deployment...
Recommendation: Buy Maybe...
VIP Level 2 | +1000 Storage | Update - Don't Buy
A 1000 unit Storage from VIP Level 2 requires a Recommendation update from Buy! to Don't Buy!.
+1000 Storage
+1000 Storage, Price (50% Off): 227 Food Raw Material, Quantity Limit: 5
At the current price of FRM at 25.98 CC the +1000 Storage costs 5,897.46 CC or 5.90 Gold.
The price is labelerd as being 50% Off, but this week that is not the case, at least not any more. As the price of FRM increased almost 4 times in the last 2 weeks, from 6.99 CC to 25.98 CC, which is an increase of 372%, or 9663% on a yearly level, +1000 Storage from VIP Shop Level 2 is not worth its price. So be carefull, discount tags could be misleading, even on Black Friday, let alone any other day, as we have learned... Let's hope the admins adjust the price soon...
So what to do until then? What are the alternatives? Fortunately, there are plenty of better options...
When compared to the 20000 Storage in Gold Store at price of 100 Gold or 5 Gold per 1000 Storage space, it turns out that it's better to buy 20000 Storage from a Gold Store than +1000 Storage from VIP Shop Level 2.
But even that would be far from the optimal option, as buying Large Storage of 9000 Storage space from the Create Company page is even a better option at the price of 35 Gold or 3.89 Gold per 1000 Storage space.
Even better option would be to buy Normal Storage of 1000 Storage space from the same place at the price of 1,750 CC or 1.75 Gold for 1000 Storage space.
However, currently the best alternative is to buy +9000 Storage in VIP Shop on Level 5 at the price of 262 WRM or 9,125.46 CC or 1.01 Gold per 1000 Storage space.
Recommendation: Don't Buy!
VIP Level Thresholds
I am still not certain about the threshold for VIP Level 10.
The likely candidates are:
100,000 VIP Points, although now it seems relatively low so not very likely;
150,000 VIP Points, as doubling the previous threshold,
160,000 VIP Points, as it was eRepublik's 16th Anniversary,
200,000 VIP Points, as it is the next really round number in the expected range...
If I'd had to guess, I'd say that most likely threshold for Level 10 would be at 160,000 VIP, as the ratio of VIP points of VIP Level 9 to Level 8 is pretty close to that when we extrapolate it to VIP Level 10, and as it'd be symbolic, just like many things lately have been related to 16th eRepublik Anniversary.
Anyway, these are currently my best estimates (in Italic) and confirmed thresholds (in Bold).
VIP 0 : 0 VIP Points
VIP 1 : 200 VIP Points
VIP 2 : 400 VIP Points
VIP 3 : 1200 VIP Points
VIP 4 : 3500 VIP Points
VIP 5 : 6000 VIP Points
VIP 6 : 11500 VIP Points
VIP 7 : 17500 VIP Points
VIP 8 : 35000 VIP Points
VIP 9 : 75000 VIP Points
VIP 10 : 160000? VIP Points
VIP Level Progress [days]
Now, the questions are:
How many days are needed until you reach a certain VIP level?
and especially,
how many days are needed to reach VIP Level 10?
We now know for sure the number of days needed to reach VIP Level 0-9.
What we don't know yet for sure is how many days are needed to reach VIP Level 10.
If you are a regular player, and I assume most of us eRepublik players are, then you could claim 20 VIP points in the VIP shop on the first day, 40 VIP points on the 2nd day and it increases in steps of 20 VIP points until day 10 when you can claim 200 VIP points and then it stays at that level, you getting 200 VIP points per day as we have learned so far.
In that case you are currently on VIP Level 3 (Day 5884 - Day 5894).
Here is a data table on when you are going to reach each VIP Level in case you collect your daily VIP Points and don't buy any additional Packs.
So it might take you:
505 days to reach 100,000 VIP Points,
755 days to reach 150,000 VIP Points,
805 days to reach 160,000 VIP Points and
1005 days to reach 200,000 VIP Points.
Reaching Level 10, most probably being at 160,000 VIP Points, would take 805 days (on Day 6,678 ) or
if being at 150,000 VIP Points, it would take 755 days to reach it (on Day 6,628 ).
What's good, it would be for free.
Is it possible to get there faster?
Yes, of course, but it will cost you...
VIP Level Progress [days] | [VIP Section]
So, if you are a VIP indeed, you don't have time to waste and you'll reach to your wallet and spend some money to reach your VIP Level goals quicker.
VIP Level Progress | Monthly Gold Pack - Small
Now, if you want to use your money optimally, getting the most VIP points for the least amount of money, you might want to go for Monthly Gold Pack - Small, as it gives you 580 VIP points for only 2.9 Eur, which is 200 VIP points for each Eur you spend.
In that case, if you could buy a Monthly Gold Pack - Small every day, you could, at least in theory, reach VIP Level 10 at VIP 160,000 already in 207 days (Day 6,080) and that would cost you €600.30.
However, that's only in theory. I tested it in practice and unfortunately, you can't buy Monthly Gold Pack - Small every day.
You can stack 2 of them in a row, but that's it, then you need to wait for some time.... So in 207 days you can't buy 207 packs, you could buy only 8 Monthly Gold Pack - Small, which should get you 4,640 VIP Points ahead and cost you €23.20.
Anyway, if you are buying Monthly Gold Pack - Small regularly, you could still get to VIP Level 2 on the day 1 and stay ahead of most of the other players with relatively modest investment.
VIP Level Progress | Power Pack
Similarly with Power Pack, if you could buy it every day, you could, in theory, reach VIP Level 10 at VIP 160,000 already in 96 days (Day 5,969), so twice as fast, but that would cost you €1,430.40, so more than twice as much as it gets you only 100 VIP points for each Eur you spend.
However, as Power Packs last 30 days, (un)fortunately, you most probably can't buy them every day, so you'll have to be more patient and could at least save some of that money...
So in that time (96 days), you could most probably buy only 5 Power Packs, which should get you 7,450 VIP Points ahead and cost you €74.50.
One of the advantages of buying Power Pack on day 1 would be that it gets you directly to VIP Level 3 and gets you more ahead than Monthly Gold Pack - Small and you get more value for it in short term, but it is more expensive.
VIP Level Progress | Daily Bundle
What you could buy every day is the Daily Bundle pack.
In that case you could get 105.1 VIP Points for each Eur spent and you could buy it every day getting ahead of the most players for an extra 515 VIP Points every day.
With Daily Bundle you could reach VIP Level 9 at 75,000 VIP Points in 107 days (Day 5,980) for €524.30, you could reach
100,000 VIP Points in 142 days (Day 6,015) for €695.80,
150,000 VIP Points in 212 days (Day 6,085) €1,038.80,
160,000 VIP Points and probably VIP Level 10 in 226 days (Day 6,099) at the cost of €1,107.40.
VIP Level Progress | 450 Gold Packs or Hero Packs XL
If money is not an issue for you, then you might want to go for 450 Gold Packs or Hero Packs XL and get on the top to VIP Level 10 at 160,000 VIP Points in as few as 26 days (Day 5,899) for €2,597.40 or in the worst case in 33 days at 200,000 VIP Points for €3,296.70.
The question is only is it worth it...

I don't know who made it, but it is a fake IMO
not a mistake that no prices are visible (too much work to do all the work)
and
it shows 10 on the left (means: you already reached lvl 10) but the progress bar still goes on
10 is the maximum, what should be at 200k VIP points if lvl 10 is the max?
it makes no sense to count the points after you reached 10

Hm... The image is anonimous, it suggests it's already on VIP Level 10 and putting threshold for Level 11 at 200000 VIP Points, but VIP Level 10 should be the last one...
So together with not revealing any information on items that could be bought on Level 10 and 9, it seems as a Photoshop edit, so fake...

You can actually buy storage in Create Company interface: https://www.erepublik.com/ru/economy/create-company
for 1750 cc / 1000 storage. So vip lvl 5 storage seems like a good investment based on your calculations and vip lvl 2 does not.

You're welcome! I would also mention that when WRM price exceeds ~60.15, it will become cheaper to buy storage via create company than via vip shop. Based on what happened to FRM, such a price spike is definitely a possibility when the majority of 2clickers get to vip lvl 5.
