[MoFA] Alliance Reshaping and Italian AS

Day 3,079, 02:33 Published in Egypt Egypt by MrBazinga

Hello friends and allies.

This past month has been a bit light in the battlefield (things got heated in the Middle East this week, but that’s a story for another day), but things have been hot on the political front; especially the alliances.

Asteria

Asteria suffered 2 major losses, as both Argentina and Brazil left the alliance.
The Arg-Brazil serial started 20 days ago when both countries proposed a law to leave the alliance. While Brazil required only the dictator’s vote, the Argentinian law had to pass through congress. The vote was a thriller till the last moments as the law was only one vote short of passing. Seeing the Argentinian law getting rejected, the dictator of Brazil vote No too, thus having both countries still in the alliance.

Fast forward a week and a new set of laws are proposed in these countries in order to once again try and leave the alliance. This time though, the Argentinian government decided to not let things up to chance and installed a dictatorship in order to control the sole vote. Unsurprisingly the law successfully passed in both countries, leaving Asteria with only 5 members.

Pacifica

While this month was a tragedy for Asteria, it has been a blessing for Pacifica. They added 6 members to their alliance, thus doubling their members.

At first, Sweden joined the alliance. Then it was Greece’s time to join and one week later, both Poland and Hungary joined as well.

Nothing could be better for Pacifica than having the 2 countries that left Asteria, join their ranks.

This happened 10 days after the induction of Poland and Hungary, bringing the total number of members to 12.

Adriatica

One month ago, Croatia decided to create their own alliance. Their unique requirements (having a national MU consisting of 80% of the countries damage), as well as the fact that they created the alliance by themselves, caught everyone’s attention immediately.
One day later, Venezuela decided to join Adriatica, with Thailand and Georgia following one week later (after the disband of their own alliance, Tripod).

Then it was Italy’s turn to join and just yesterday Albania became the 6th member of this unique alliance.

Cyprus was also invited to become the 7th member of Adriatica, while no law has been proposed yet, you can find more info in this article
Rumors circulate the game, regarding Chile and Ireland becoming their 8th and 9th member respectively, though no such law has been proposed yet.

These were the major changes regarding the biggest alliances the past month, and I hope this leads to a much more interesting game the coming months.

Now let’s talk a bit about our war. We’ve had overwhelming success against Israel, a big part was thanks to our awesome allies. We haven’t lost more than 5 points in the first 3 campaigns, even when we had to fight against the Israeli COs.

So,
Thanks to Italy.

Thanks to Russia.

Thanks to Hungary.

Thanks to Georgia.

Thanks to Venezuela.

Thanks to Chile.

And thanks to all the independent fighters that fought by our side.

Special thanks should be given to the Italian government, who, planned along with our government an Airstrike to Israel in order to help us defend the region against foreign invaders.
What’s exceptional is that all the planning, filling the Airstrike needs in food and cc, and the proposal of the law happened in just under 5 hours.

We certainly hope our Italian brothers stay in the area for a long time, because who doesn’t love good pasta?
