Guide to Airstrikes

Day 2,456, 00:50 Published in Cuba United Kingdom by HebronGazelle

One day, the admins decided to include an option for more tactics to be involved in large wars. This was airstrikes. The ability to attack a country on the other side of the world is important when fighting in a world war or saving an ally. This guide looks into the basics of airstrikes.

How to get an Airstrike
Citizens of a country have to contribute for a country to get an airstrike, but the amount they contribute depends on the size and power of the country. There are two equations, one for the amount of food that needs to be contributed and one for money.

Health Equation:
Health Required = (Country Population + All Allies Population) * 250
Money Equation:
Money Required = (1,000,000 + (100,000 * Non-Original Regions)) * (1 + (25 * Food Resources Owned) / 100) / 15

The money equation can get complicated so too see how much is required you can select the military tab under your country. When enough health and money is collected the country president can propose an airstrike on a country that does not share a border, as long as both countries have at least 1 region. If a majority of Congress support the airstrike, it will pass and the war will begin.

The war begins...
The first battles from the airstrike is the most important. If the attacker wins they will gain the region and will be able to attack other regions that share a border, but if the defender wins the war will end as their will be no borders. The war would continue as any other normal war would so if there are no borders the war cannot continue. The first battle is so important because all food and money will be lost when the war starts, so a country will not be able the start another airstrike straight away. You will see a lot of tanking in the first battle of an airstrike from both sides.

Tactics in war...
Hungary and Cyprus might be at war, but countries like Cuba and the eUK cannot get involved directly since their are no borders to the two fighting countries. Airstrikes would be used to open up more fronts and help allies win their battles. Airstrikes become important for allies when invading larger countries or when in major wars, when one alliance plans to attack another alliance they will always consider some countries using airstrikes. Airstrikes add more tactic to war, and make every country vulnerable to attack. When USA was attacked by the alliance TWO, only a few of the 7 attacking countries actually had borders with USA. Some countries used airstrikes to get involved, making USA weaker and easier the conquer.
