[DoE] eBabies, Mentors and Reading. Oh My!

Day 1,941, 15:53 Published in USA USA by Department of Citizen Affairs

The Department of Education is an exciting department full of valuable information. It's here to educate to new player, the returned player, and even the old timer who might just want to look at what might be new that they missed. The DoE is known for releasing educational articles on a variety of subjects. This shall continue during Vanek26's term.

As well as writing informational articles, the DoE also offers the American University apply here. This helps each new player receive their very own mentor. Now - you might be wondering where do mentors come from. They come from the sky upon clouds of cotton candy. Once they are here they send a message to let me know. Now I know that sometimes these cotton candy cloud riding mentors don’t even realize that they could be mentoring - That’s why I need you, the reader, to let everyone know. Thanks!

The DoE will be working on a series of articles ranging from how to get involved straight through to commonly used terminology. As well as a few articles that hold links to other articles. So you only need to bookmark one. YAY! For a little sneak peek on how to get involved contact Black Baroness and ask her about being an eAmbassador for the eUS. (You may also find her on IRC in #AMP, #wtp, #fedPartyChat, & #uswpchat.)

Another important thing to remember as a new person is that the game extends beyond the boundaries of this website. The eusaforums.com are vital for many levels of gameplay. IRC (Rizon network) helps the ingame community communicate and just be generally amazing. Using these two things will help you to become proficient far more quickly than staying ingame alone. So remember! Register on eusaforums.com and check out the Welcome Center. Then log onto IRC via Mibbit, Rizon or your favorite client. The #usa-chat channel is a starting place. Most parties and MU’s have channels too.

Finally! This is a game, but never forget it is a game where we work together. Add people to your friends list. If you are curious who to add - read the official newspapers. Such as WHPR and the all important DoD Orders look at who comments. If what they say seems interesting to you then add them. Check here add the cabinet. Finally - check your party and your MU. Add people. Then shout out a hello to all your new friends. YAY!
