As you have probably seen, there is a poll on the home screen to decide the future of Kosovo.
Now, it is tempting to vote for it to be a region of Serbia. We would probably get further into Serbia's good books. Lord knows, we need as many allies as we can get at this time.
But it wouldn't be right. Kosovo's people want to be an independent nation, and so an independent nation they should be. Following the same logic, the Falklands are British and always shall be.
It may be a part of Serbian beliefs that Kosovo should remain a part of Serbia, but the overwhelming modern British ideology is that sovereignty lies where the people wish it to lie.
Northern Ireland is British

Canada is Canadian
Falklands are Britain
Republic of Ireland is Irish

Northern Ireland is British indeed. But one had to have police there to calm down the riots, dismantle the bombs, and protect ordinary folks a while ago. Didn't it?
Compare it to Kosovo, it's like UK would have it's car factories, bridges, tv stations, even Chinese embassy, bombarded on an ultimatum to withdraw the police.
Or in Spain, you had Basque separatists. You didn't see Spain bombarded over that question.
Not that it makes any difference, but things like that shouldn't be solved by killing people.

Northern Ireland is divided, i live in it in RL, its almost 50/50, and even if unionists have majoirty its not in Britain thats Scotland, England and Wales, u can see its in the UK

There's barely enough players left ot man 50 eNations let alone split us up between every contentious region on the globe.

They want independence from Bosnia and Herzegovina, but cannot get it.
Also, what about the Basques in Spain and France and other problematic regions Alfagrem pointed out? Should they get their independence in RL and Erepublik as well?

N Ireland is part of the UK because it voted that way, whereas the Republic voted differently.

At the end of the day, they are bringing this in to try and tilt the balance of power a bit. I don't really think that the poll will matter at the end of the day the Admins will do what they want
