A recent string of murders has been attributed to gang activity.|||Ottawa - Gang activity has hit an all time high recently in Ottawa, leaving residents wondering what the newly elected president is going to do about it. Residents feel that the recent murders hit a little to close to home considering an election was held just yesterday.

"I want to see what the new president is going to do about this." says Mother Melissa Burton "Anybody can promise an economy boost but it takes a good leader to keep the streets safe." and there are many others like Melissa who are waiting with bated breath to see if situations in Ottawa and other cities across Canada improve.
