USA to return Baja to Mexico

Day 527, 21:02 Published in USA USA by scrabman
UPDATE: Do not fight in the Baja battle! PEACE has started a Resistance War prior to the Mexico battle declaration which makes it so that I cannot withdraw from the battle. DO NOT WASTE YOUR GUNS you will need them later.

After having a month of very successful War Games the President of Mexico and I have decided that it is time to wrap up our operations and return the Baja to the control of Mexico. I have just posted the amended Treaty that Dish and I have been negotiating for the last several days and I've signed it on behalf of the eUSA. Dish is expected to sign it later today (day 52😎 and start an attack on Baja from which the eUSA will retreat.

While we had originally planned to use a Resistance War to send Baja back to Mexico, I have had extensive discussions with my top military advisers and we believe that our citizens are so used to fighting against the resistance that it would be impossible to coordinate such a return and would require a great expenditure of weapons and cost to do so. Further, engaging in such a protracted battle that could be achieved more simply by retreating from the region limits the options of our military in coordinating upcoming operations with our ATLANTIS allies.

The average combat strength of our citizens has risen dramatically during the month + of the Baja War Games and I'm very pleased with that success as it gives us more firepower for the defense and expansion capacity of our nation which has been a concern of many.

Don't worry. We will be starting a new round of War Games with nearly a dozen of our ATLANTIS allies sometime next week so there will be more opportunities to train and develop.

In the mean time ... please keep an eye on the White House Official Newspaper for more details.

This is where you will see what we need for you to do for fighting. Don't respond to the first attack that you see pop up in the todo list without checking either my paper (that you are currently reading) or the official White House paper.

As many of you are, no doubt, aware .. combat requires subtlety and delicate maneuvers. We can't be completely transparent at all times. That is why I'm asking the citizens to be patient and to await official news before engaging in further fighting. Save your weapons and watch your strength. Buy weapons now while they are still inexpensive.

That is all.
