If you ask me, Romania lost a lot with the change from v2 to whatever this mixed version is. The API isn't available, the damage formulas neither, but it is pretty much obvious that v2 brought Romania on second place, almost near Serbia. The new one brought Romania back. I should be a BIG fan of v2. But, as good/bad as it was, the community has changed, pretty much the same like in every other country(the lack of it). A lot of citizens quited, a lot of others went in the boring 1-2 click mode from time to time, just to give the game another chance.
And finally the admin admitted the BIG mistake, not listening to all our feed-backs given at the right time. Myself I had a couple of surveys, one a couple of hours earlier than the admin's one, considered the great welcome for v2. In mine, more than 75% citizens asked to bring v1 back, especially because of the military module. In his, everything was nice and dandy.
The v2 economy was another bad decision, unbalanced formulas, very hard to fix it. Finally the admin made the GOOD move. Look at the actual economy. It is really working. A lot of citizens quited but still, just bringing back v1(well, a little bit modified) manufacturing and constructions are getting some life. Maybe the admin will bring the rest to make the raw materials alive like before.
All in all, I think it was a very good choice (late but not too late) to make this radical move (come back) and get over the quitting version of v2.
Personally, I feel how the citizens are getting slowly together, the community is getting to the place where v1 left us.
Let's try to bring the old school among us and have some fun together!

yea it seems economy is reviving , salaries are going up, people are buying more weapons&food, plenty of wars, but im not sure about hospitals only for defenders rule, I think it will be almost impossible to win a region vs decent country, hopefully they will balance that somehow

We were on the second place, before Liaoning and lots of hospitals, we were closer to Serbia than Hungary.

I actually think that EDEN is again far superior and it would be in any kind of war module admin put out, admit it, there are only two strong countries&armies in phoenix, on EDEN side you have at least 6 big mobile armies, I dont think phoenix will be able to protect lot of its small members, there are already two phoenix countries waiting to be wiped out and this war module just started

EDEN and Phoenix both need to realize it's just a game sometimes, some people overreact and say crap about people. I mean seriously, either side can win, but it's just a game, not like we're fighting a war in real life. xD

One problem is all the damage I did in V2... all that gold... now you can do 10,000 damage/influence very easily.

The economy is far from "working" .There are huge stocks,weapon Q are not well balanced (a q1 20-10 costs X to produce a q4 20-100 costs 4X to produce so low q weapons are not worth buying/producing),raw/prod needed to produce helis (at least) seems to not be what we are told and i could keep going but that would make my post way too long.
Raw prices (just like all prices) will go with wages.Because of stocks and good margins ,till now, prices for raw stayed low but they'll go up soon enough.One problem is that as wages keep going up, market prices will fall bellow prod costs and a lot of companies will sell at a loss .Ofc once stocks get depleted, wages/prices will truly go crazy and all the formulas must be drastically changed again.
War module in this format always favors the stronger side,no more 1 vs 15 win in the last 5 mins and where is the fun in that?A procentual difference instead of actual numbers makes things even more difficult since we just don't know what is needed and if we have a chance to win the 2h battle.
This version is way worse than v1 and needs a lot more work than v2.
bring v2 back , we need strategy not some "click there and click there"... we have brains, we must "train" them : (
I don't know if what we have right now can be called 'economy' anymore. And I believe the same stands for the military module. I think we're in the middle of nowhere and admins don't even know where to go from here. It's like wherever they turn their head they hit a wall ...

Yeah, finally the module is back ... a browser game should be quite easy to learn and play. V2 was a little bit to much, you needed lots of time to fight, lots of money to keep your company alive in the first weeks ... go, thumbs up for V.1.5 😃
This version should have been first and maybe a better V2 later on.

Bogdan don't underestimate urself, I'll be objective and say that Romania was in line with Serbia, but once again we proved that resources(gold) and uber military organization can't beat pure persistance and stoverdness 😣

Wow a whole 1 poster sees what this game has really become, instead of riding on "feel of win" (which will soon enough turn to boredom, games are only fun with someone to actually play against).
The results of this version's battles are just as predictable as the ones from v2, there is no FUN.
The previous war module was far more challenging then this one.
I cannot compare the challenges of Rising where you needed timing, strategy, tactics, brain, terrain advantage, option to choose enemies, excitement of the direct fight with the dumbness of v1.5 where you just hit an opponent that does not retaliate.
Is like an old joke from Vacanta Mare:
- You tie a man with the hands on the back and throw on him with the hammer until it catches!
- But it cannot!
- See? This is the actual fair-play of the game

The economy works right now because people spend on the battles more than they realize.After they'll finish their savings things will go into V1 overproduction stage.
What's so great about every company that lost a great deal of e-money after these new migrations?I really feel sorry for q5 heli managers.
Oh yeah..I love the "click,click,click" were all the strategy comes back to blocking attacks and "attack everything and we'll decide later where we want to win". Besides although it's "click,click" again, you have to do it every 2 hours in a battle...hmm,yes much less time consuming.
And let's not forget the hospital rule...it is awesome..not

Of course, I liked it as it really made high-IQ people come forward as you need to plan much more than previously (or after as it looks now).
But...this whole eRep thing is a business...not an elite game. So back to square one.
You're right about economy atm, although I think we'll have some serious problems again soon. And this new war module has its own problems - unlimited boosters made it ridiculous - a guy made more damage in 2 hours than I did in year and half, and I am soldier : D
And I agree with vladb - previous war module was way more challenging, and instead of fixing it (rebalancing and adressing time-zone problem) they gave us this...
